PA Teen Motorcyclist Killed In Crash With Tractor-Trailer: Police

A teenager was found dead at the scene of a motorcycle crash involving a tractor-trailer, Lebanon City Police announced on Saturday, Oct. 19.

An 18-year-old Lebanon man has been identified as the victim, but his name had not been released at the time of publishing.

The fatal crash happened at the intersection of Tenth Street/PA Route 72 South and Walnut Street/PA Rt 422 East at 9:15 p.m. on Oct. 18, the police detailed in the release. 

Initially, dispatchers told the police that the collision involved a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer, the police explained. 

The police investigation indicates the motorcyclist was going east on Walnut St. and the tractor-trailer was traveling south on 10th St.

"The operator of the tractor-trailer truck was interviewed by police," the police wrote in the release,"Additional information will be released at the conclusion of the investigation."
